Karmen Paley is a non-binary actor, director, producer, and drag artist working to inspire a more compassionate understanding of humanity.

Karmen studied acting and directing at the University of Southern California and British American Drama Academy. Their work has taken them all over the country: most recently to Vermont to direct Titus Andronicus.

As an actor, they've played roles across the gender spectrum: most recently as Bianca in Othello in New York City and at Joe's Pub in a series of Queering the Canon concerts produced by Ring of Keys. They also star in Core Ensemble's annual tour of Equally Divine, a solo chamber musical about the Mona Lisa that celebrates gender and sexual fluidity.

Next up, Karmen will be assistant directing It's A Wonderful Life starring Mary Testa and Donna Lynne Champlin with Transport Group. Click here for tickets.

By day, Karmen works as a Matchmaker for Tawkify. Single and seeking love? They can help!

If you find yourself in the West Village on the last Thursday of the month, make your way over to Rockbar: Karmen hosts Puppi Loves Matchmaking, a live dating show, as their drag persona, Puppi Love. For more info, follow Puppi on Instagram @LovePuppiLove.
